Equine Facilitated Experiential
Learning (EFEL) is not psychotherapy, and is not appropriate for those
with active mental health issues. It is suitable for anyone seeking a
greater sense of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance in
their lives.
In EFEL
the horses become our guides to authenticity. As prey animals, horses are highly tuned in to their
environment, relying on body language and intuition for their safety.
These gentle giants are masters at sensing our emotions and
reading our intentions. By mirroring our truest feelings and providing
immediate feedback, horses can lead us down the path of self-discovery,
revealing thought and behavior patterns that keep us from reaching our
fullest potential.
